Delivered fresh each morning, our mussells are farmed in the lochs of Scotland. Cooked in a white wine, garlic & cream sauce and served with a chunk of bread.

Minced Pork stir fried with spring onions, garlic, ginger, sesame oil and oyster sauce, served on crisp baby gem lettuce with a soy sauce dip.

All of our steaks are personally selected by renowned butcher John Gilmour from Boswell livestock market. On arrival at The Doric, our Steaks are marinated immediately to deliver the maximum taste and the most tender meat.

Our Steaks are cooked to your liking with thick hand cut chips, grilled tomato and sautéed mushrooms.

Home Made Cheeseburger £10.95

Our burgers are made using the finest steak mince from Gilmour’s and our own special ingredients. Served in a freshly baked bun with salad and gherkin, hand cut chips and dressed salad garnish.

Scotland’s national dish. We only use the best West Calder Haggis from our butcher, served with mashed potato, mashed turnip and covered in a light whisky jus.

Try washing it down with a bottle of Innis & Gunn, a famous Scottish beer that is aged in whisky barrels!

Char grilled breast of Chicken £13.95 

Marinated in lemon and thyme, with roasted Mediterranean vegetables, served on slow braised potatoes and finished with a basil oil.

Roasted Mixed Peppers and Artichoke Lasagne £10.50

Bound in a creamy tomato sauce, with a touch of white sauce and topped with fresh parmesan. Served with rocket and red onion salad in a balsamic dressing.

Home made Shepherds Pie £11.95

Finest lamb mince topped with Isle of Mull cheddar mashed potato and served with fresh buttered vegetables.
